Deer Creek Tribute Trail - We will take
participants to several points of interest along the beautiful Deer Creek
Tribute Trail in Nevada City. The Nevada City Rancheria Nisenan Tribe partnered
in several instances with other local stakeholders in the creation of
interpretive signage, a Native plant garden, angkula seo suspension bridge and
the highly anticipated trail segment that will traverse a section of the
Nisenan Cultural Reclamation Corridor. We will talk about the importance of
Tribal inclusion and how these points of interest help to raise visibility.
