Event Details

"No, that's not safe." "Stop hitting your sister." "Put your toys away and come to dinner NOW!" We're usually trying to get our child to do a different behavior - whether it's completing a new action or stopping the current one. Join parent educator, Annie Keeling, as you learn 6 new strategies that really work to build more cooperation. You and your child can move more easily from resistance and big emotions into calm and connected behaviors.

This workshop is free and open to parents of children of all ages.

Annie Keeling, MFA, is a parent educator, writer, music teacher, and founder of Start Small Parenting. She has degrees from UCLA, Goddard College, and UW-Madison. Since 1998, she has brought her expertise in early childhood and behavior education to family programs locally and on-line, as well as private coaching.

"Annie is a brave and hilarious teacher.  I have no doubt that the next few years of my life I will use something I learned from Annie every single day, and the value of that is incalculable." - Dan W.

"I thought I would just love my child and the rest would fall into place. Now I love who I am as a parent, too."

 - Brie S.
